All of us have had an “ah ha” moment, a time when an idea popped into our mind and provided the insight that we immediately knew that could change our lives.  For most it stays there, an idea, an unrealized thought that never becomes a reality. For John Lee Dumas, it became a multi-million dollar reality. John was working in real estate when he realized the power and potential of podcasting. He realized the need for a daily podcasting, profiling entrepreneurs and business leaders. He launched Entrepreneur on Fire and the rest is history.  In this episode of Unlocking Greatness, John shares the story of how his entrepreneurial drive, determination and innovation brought him into the world of podcasting where he was able to turn his hobby into a successful business.

As a kid growing up, there were a few careers that I dreamed of. Top of that list? Air force pilot.  What could be cooler than flying an F16? In this episode, I get the change to talk with Capt. Rob “Waldo” Waldman, on how he became a pilot. Waldo explains how he pursued his dream, committed himself to becoming excellent and dealt with many challenges. Life wasn’t so easy for Waldo. Three years into his military career, due to a scuba diving accident, he suffered from extreme claustrophobia. While that may have lead others to quit the service, Waldo kept flying. Waldo shares with us how he overcame his fear, and recommitted himself to excellence. His tips, insights and strategies apply to military and civilian alike.
